A single space, a 20m² bedroom, the perfect size for its intended use, but with a small obstacle right in the middle: a central pillar. In this project the challenge was to turn this obstacle into an opportunity, making it an essential part of the design. The solution was to subtly divide the room into different functional areas, integrating furniture in a way that makes the pillar blend into the space. In the end, few will even remember that the pillar was ever there.
